Overview
CM Punjab’s Grow More Wheat Program is aimed at empowering small and medium farmers of Punjab. The program provides 1,000 free tractors that are to distributed through a transparent digital lottery, ensuring fair distribution and promoting agricultural development. 560,000 acres of land have been earmarked for wheat cultivation, and the scheme is expected to significantly increase wheat production, which will also provide financial support to small and medium farmers.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a small or medium farmer in Punjab
- The farmer must have agricultural land (proof required)
- The farmer must be registered with the Punjab Agriculture Department
Application Process
- Go to the official portal (Punjab Agriculture Department website)
- Enter personal and land details in the application form
- Submit necessary documents (ID card, land ownership proof, etc.)
- Wait for verification and balloting
- The selected farmers will be provided with tractors within 3 months
