Wazir-e-Aala Punjab Sailab Bahali Program 2025

Overview

The ‘Wazir-e-Aala Punjab Sailab Bahali Program 2025’ is a massive flood relief initiative launched by the Government of Punjab under the direction of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Based on financial assistance, this program is aimed at providing compensation up to Rs. 1000,000 for flood victims across 27 districts of Punjab who lost their loved ones, houses, crops, and source of income due to heavy rains and floods.

Package Details

Deceased and Injured

  • Families of deceased persons will receive Rs. 1 million
  • Victims of permanent disability Rs. 500,000
  • Victims with minor injuries Rs. 300,000

House Damage

  • For housing losses, Rs. 1 million will be provided for completely collapsed concrete houses
  • Rs. 300,000 for partially damaged ones.
  • Rs. 500,000 will be granted for fully collapsed mud houses.
  • Rs. 150,000 for partially damaged structures. 

Livestock Loss

  • Compensation of up to Rs. 500,000 will be extended for the loss of large livestock. 
  • Rs. 50,000 for small animals.

Registration & Payment Process

  • Survey and Data Collection: Teams visit flood-hit areas to collect family information and loss details.
  • Verification of Losses: Government verification ensures that payments are accurate and justified.
  • Issuance of Relief Cards: Eligible families receive a Relief Card linked to their bank accounts.

  • Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Bank of Punjab (BoP), Urban Unit, Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA), NADRA, Agriculture Department, and District Administrations.
