Director General Wildlife & Parks Punjab Khalid Ayaz Khan has distributed cheques of 55 lakh 56 thousand rupees among the presidents of community based organizations (CBO) of Kala Bagh and Kalar Kahar for arranging four trophy hunting of Urial.
The ceremony was held at the office of DG Wildlife & Parks Punjab and participated by all officers of the department. Khalid Ayaz Khan gave a cheque of 27 lakh 83 thousand rupees to the president of Kalar Kahar Urial CBO Malik Mukhtiar Haider for 02 Urial trophy and a cheque of 27 lakh 74 thousand rupees to representative of Kala Bagh Urial CBO Malik Waheed Khan for 02 Urial trophy. Kahlid Ayaz Khan directed the presidents of CBO to ensure utilization of the money according to rules and regulations and spent 60 percent of the amount on the conservation and improvement of natural habitat of Urial and wildlife of the area while the remaining amount on social welfare activities.
