On the special direction of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, PML-N leader Khawaja Ahmed Hasaan distributed cheques of financial assistance for ten lakh rupees each among the heirs of Muhammad Kamran (23) and Hafiz Tanvir Ahmed (21) resident of Paki Thati Samanabad who died due to blast at Gulshan Iqbal Park.
Expressing condolences with the heirs of the deceased, Khawaja Ahmed Hasaan said that Punjab government equally shares their grief. He reiterated that the nation will face terrorism with full force and the terrorists killing innocent citizens will be awarded deterrent punishment. Khawaja Ahmed Hasaan said that on the special direction of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, district administration fulfilling all necessary formalities has ensured immediate provision of cheques of financial assistance to the heirs of the deceased. Additional General Secretary PML-N Lahore Syed Tauseef Shah, Coordinator Mian Muhammad Tariq, Political Secretary Nazir Khan Swati and Haji Jaffar Bhai were also present on the occasion.
