Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs & Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sandhu has said that Punjab government is determined to provide quality education to the youth and huge amount has been allocated for education sector in the budget.
He said this while talking to a delegation of minority students. The Provincial Minister said that educational scholarships are being given to the talented male and female students. He said that study tours of prestigious universities of foreign countries are also being arranged. Khalil Tahir Sandhu said that full opportunities of marching forward in every walk of life are being provided for achieving prominent place in the comity of nations. He said that minorities have played important role in the development and prosperity of Pakistan since its creation. He said that three crore rupees has been allocated for the deserving intelligent minority male and female students so that they could continue their education. The Provincial Minister said that development without education is impossible, therefore, government is giving top priority to the promotion of education. He said that male and female students are being encouraged in education sector. The Provincial Minister said that young generation should continue their activities according to their culture but should be avoided from those hobbies which create hindrance in education.
