Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique paid a visit to under-construction Institute of Urology & Kidney Transplant at Murree Road, Rawalpindi to review the pace of work on the project. Secretary health Punjab Jawwad Rafique Malik and project director Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Thind and other officers were also accompanied the advisor. He directed that the speed of construction work should be boost up for timely completion of the project so that people could get benefit from treatment facilities of kidney, urine bladder and other urology and nephrology diseases. Khawaja Salman Rafique said that this institution would not only provide best treatment facilities to the citizens of Rawalpindi but also be a blessing to the adjoining areas. The project directed briefed the advisor about the construction work. He said that structure of main building is completed where as other civil work is in progress and procedural steps are also being taken for the procurement of biomedical equipment and other machinery, the Institute of Urology and kidney transplant is being constructed at 90 kanal of land, he added.
