Flood Affected Districts To Complete Survey Report Of The Losses

Chief Relief Commissioner Punjab Nadeem Ashraf has said that government has bounded all administration of flood affected districts to complete the survey report of the losses to crops and houses as soon as possible so that losses of the affected people could be compensated. He said that there is a forecast of rains in last week of August that will not cause any danger. He said that Provincial Disaster Management Authority has provided 55600 tents, 174750 food hampers, 82000 mineral water bottles, 35150 mosquito nets and 29800 plastic mats to the flood affectees. He said that 824 flood affectees are staying in 88 operational relief camps. He said that affectees are going to their homes where water has receded. He said that administration has provided three time meals to 197441 flood affectees so far. He said that there is low flood at Kalabagh, Chashma and Taunsa in river Indus whereas other rivers and nullahs are flowing normally.
