Chairperson Provincial Commission on Women Fauzia Waqar met Secretary Women Development Department Punjab Bushra Aman and discussed development schemes for protection and empowerment of women. Fauzia Waqar said that Women Commission will implement five development schemes during current fiscal year which include gender management information system, women leadership and support programme, training of marriage contract registrars and chairman of union councils besides skills development programme for the rehabilitation and protection of women victims of violence. Fauzia Waqar said that a pilot project will soon be launched for imparting training in various skills to women victims of violence facing financial problems.
