Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that Malala Yousafzai foiled the conspiracies to push the nation into darkness of ignorance through her courage and determination. He said that Malala Yousafzai stood against extremists with steadfastness and gave hope to such girls as wanted to get education. The Chief Minister said that the purpose of observing Malala Day is to accelerate the efforts for education of girls throughout the world. He said that struggle of Malala Yousafzai who raised her voice for education of girls is a beacon of light for others. Shehbaz Sharif said that Malala Yousafzai is the real face of Pakistan of being a modern, moderate and tolerant country. He further said that the sacrifice made by Malala Yousafzai for the promotion of education will not go to waste and the nefarious designs of the extremist elements will not be allowed to succeed. He said that Malala Yousafzai is the pride and symbol of Pakistan and she has come forward as a messenger of peace and knowledge in the world. He said that Malala Yousafzai thwarted the conspiracy to push the nation into darkness of illiteracy and ignorance and defeated extremist mentality in an era of barbarism. He said that there is a need for promotion of education for defeating extremism. The Chief Minister said that Punjab government is determined to equip every male and female child of the province with education. He said that the mission of Malala Yousafzai will be forwarded and her dream will be realized through enrolment of every child in school.
