Shehbaz Sharif Reviews Pace Of Greater Iqbal Project

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif presided over a high level meeting, here today, which reviewed progress on Greater Iqbal Project. Speaking on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said that it is essential to apprise young generation of the supreme sacrifices made during Pakistan Movement and Greater Iqbal Project is of vital importance in this regard. He said that Punjab government is setting up Greater Iqbal Project on 120 acres of land. He said that this project is unique and the first of its kind. The Chief Minister said that a National Heroes Gallery will also be established. He said that Pakistan was achieved after supreme sacrifices under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam and this project is a milestone with regard to creating awareness in the young generation about the struggle for creation of the country. Khawaja Ahmed Hasaan, Director General Walled City Authority Lahore, Commissioner Lahore Division, DG PHA, Vice Chairman PHA Iftikhar Ahmed, Yousaf Salahuddin and senior officials were present.
