Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has issued special instructions for the provision of best food items and soft drinks to the police officials deputed for protection of life and property of people during Muharram-ul-Haram. The Chief Minister during a meeting to review security arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram inquired about provision of eatables to police personnel performing duty during Muharram-ul-Haram upon which he was informed that arrangements for breakfast and meals have been made and a menu has also been prepared. The Chief Minister after listening to the list of food items directed that the menu should be further improved and best breakfast and delicious lunch and dinner besides soft drinks and mineral water should be served to police officials performing duty during Muharram-ul-Haram. He directed Inspector General Police to ensure implementation of his instructions and no complaint should be received in this regard.
