Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has been elected unopposed President of the party during intra-party election in the meeting of provincial council of PML-N Punjab. Chief Election Commissioner Authority Pakistan Muslim League-N Punjab, Mansha Ullah Butt announced the Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif as unopposed Provincial President. He told that during scrutiny of papers, candidate Shaukat Ali withdrew his papers and Shehbaz Sharif has been elected as unopposed Provincial President. After that, Chief Minister assumed the charge of Provincial President-ship. Provincial Minister Malik Nadeem Kamran has been elected as unopposed Senior Vice President, Arshad Khan and Mohtarma Nighat Parveen as unopposed Vice Presidents, Mian Marghoob Ahmed as unopposed Finance Secretary and Sami Ullah Chaudhry as unopposed Secretary Information. The participants of the meeting of provincial council congratulated Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and other office-bearers on their unopposed election.
