Provincial Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare Khawaja Imran Imran Nazir paid a surprise visit to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Gujjar Khan, last night. He went around emergency ward, children ward. The Minister inspected operation theatre, Labour Room and reviewed cleanliness conditions in the hospital. Kh. Imran Nazir enquired about the patients, also inspected medicine store and washrooms.
The Minister expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness condition and attendance of the doctors and the staff. Few patients complaind about bringing medicines from outside. The Minister took notice for not provision of 100% medicine to the patients. He directed the MS to provide free medicines to all indoor patients at any cost. The Medical Superintendent informed the Minister that the some portions of the hospital are under consideration. He informed that new modern gynae table has been installed in Labour Room and refurbished CT Scan machine with the help of Philanthropist. Kh. Imran Nazir directed to accelerate construction work in the hospital. The Minister expressed satisfaction on the overall working of the hospital. He said that minimum service delivery standards should be ensured at every level.
