Expansion In Recep Tayyip Erdogon Hospital Starts

Provincial Minister for Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Kh. Salman Rafique has said that with a view to provide better healthcare facilities to the people of southern Punjab, expansion of Recep Tayyip Erdogon Hospital Muzaffargarh has been started on the direction of Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. He said that, in first phase 250 beds would be included in the hospital. This project would cost Rs.3 billion. Kh. Salman Rafique further said that in second phase another 250 beds would be made part of this hospital. 

He said this, after attending the meeting of Board of Trustees of Recep Tayyip Erdogon Hospital Muzaffargarh, here today. Secretary Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department Najam Ahmed Shah was also present on this occasion. Kh. Salman Rafique further said that regional blood centers are being established at divisional level to prevent spread of blood borne diseases and provision of screened and healthy blood to the patients. He said that first two RBCs of Multan and Bahawalpur would be run under the control of Indus Hospital Trust. Kh. Salman Rafique was of the view that government is endeavouring hard to provide quality healthcare services to the people for which all resources are being spent.
