Provincial Minister for Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education, Khawaja Salman Rafique presided over a meeting at Civil Secretariat, today which discussed in detail the matters for constitution of a committee comprising health experts and notables for selecting best performers of the month from doctors, nurses and paramedics performing duties in Health Department. The meeting was attended by Special Secretary Health Dr. Sajid Mehmood Chohan, Member Health P&D Dr. Shabana Haider, AIG Special Branch Zaigham Mushtaq, former MPA Haji Muhammad Nawaz, Director PSPU Muhammad Khan Ranjha and Additional Secretary Health Technical Dr. Salman Shahid. Kh. Salman Rafique said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, process of encouragement of doctors, nurses and paramedics displaying outstanding performance on monthly basis is continuing for encouraging the staff of government hospitals. A committee comprising experts and notables is being constituted for this purpose which will evolve a procedure for selecting best persons from the recommendations received from all the districts. Work will be started formally by constituting committee within a week in this regard, he added.
