The Punjab Civil Administration Ordinance 2016 (XX of 2016) has today been promulgated with immediate effect: it aims at instituting a comprehensive system of civil administration in the Punjab for efficient administration, improved service delivery, better coordination, supervision and regulatory enforcement and for ancillary matters. The Ordinance is available on the official website of the Punjab Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department (www.punjabcode.gov.pk) for information of the general public.
