A gas turbine of Bhikki Power Plant, closed temporarily for very short period for necessary inspection and scrutiny has again become operational. Gas turbine was not closed due to any fault rather it was settled to do so. After necessary tests, gas turbine has started work again. According to the direction of gas turbine manufacturer, there is a need of some necessary tests and check up after closing turbine initially for some hours which were carried out during this short closer. Second turbine of Bhikki Power Plant will also be closed within next two days for necessary check up and inspection.
