Performance Based Reward System Introduced In the Health Department

Punjab Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare, Khawaja Imran Nazir said that rewarding system based on best performance has been introduced in the Primary & Secondary healthcare as well as in specialized Healthcare departments to provide a healthy competitive atmosphere to the staff with a view to further improve the working of the health facilities services. Kh. Imran Nazir further said that it would bring more relief to the patients. He stated this while presiding over a meeting of the committee constituted for the selection of best performers in different categories of both departments, here on Saturday. Besides, Secretary P&S Health Ali Jan Khan, Additional Secretary Admn Specialized Healthcare Raja Mansoor, Chief Executive of Punjab Health Facilities Management Company Mohammad Ali Amir, Dr. Naeem Uddin Mian, Project Director PSPU Mohammad Khan Ranjha, DS Dr. Yaddullah and other members of the committee attended the meeting. The committee finalized the names of best perfomer officials, officers in different categories. Selection has been made for best CEO Health, Best DOH, best Medical Superintendent, best surgeon, best physician, best nurse etc. The Minister Health said that the list of selected performers, purely based on performance, would be submitted to the Chief Minister Punjab Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif for final approval after that Chief Minister will distribute cash awards to them.  Kh. Imran Nazir said this system would develop a health competition among the staff and encourage them for improving their performance which would result in bringing best healthcare to the patients.
