Chinese Delegation of Energy Administration led by Nur Bekri Vice Chairman (Minister) of National Development and Reform Commission and Administrator of National Energy Commission Peoples Republic of China arrived at Islamabad International Airport on Sunday evening. Ambassador of Peoples Republic of China in Pakistan H E Sun Weidong, Provincial Minister for Sports Jhangir Khanzada representing Chief Minister Punjab at Islamabad received the delegates at Islamabad Airport. Mayor Metropolitan Corporation Rawalpindi Sardar Muhammad Naseem Khan, Acting Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Talat Mehmood Gondal, RPO Fakhar Sultan Raja and officials of foreign office welcomed the delegation on their arrival. Jhangir Khanzada extended the message of facilitation of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to the visiting delegation of Peoples Republic of China on their visit of Pakistan. Two children presented bouquet to the head of delegation H. E. Nur Bekri.
The Chinese delegation of National People’s Congress (NPC) Mr. Huang Euenong, Mr. Llu Deshun, Ms. Gu Jun, Mr. Wu Rulpeng, Mr. Suo Yunpeng, Mr. Shen Yuchao, Mr. Llu Ran, Ms. Wang Qianting was given warm reception in Islamabad International Airport.
H E. Nur Bekri expressed his gratitude over the reception of Chinese delegation and said that Pakistan China Friendship is long lasting and CPEC will strengthen the bilateral relations between both countries. Sports Minister Punjab Jhangir Khanzada said on the occasion that speedy completion of energy projects in Punjab is a record of excellent performance of Chinese experts and companies and it would help to facilitate early completion of CPEC. He said this unique project is a symbol of Pak-China Friendship and would open new era of economic development and employment not only in Pakistan but also in the entire Region.
