Punjab Revenue Authority started a Junior Tennis Initiative (JTI) summer camp-2017 for children in collaboration with Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA) for young tennis players. The JTI is also associated with International Tennis Federation (ITF).
It is expected this camp will promote tennis in Punjab and nurture talent at a young age. The summer camp is free for all with all facilities at the disposal of around hundred schools children between 5 to 12 years of age at Bagh e Jinnah Lawns from 11 July to 13 August 2017. Two training sessions have been planned for each day i.e morning session from 7.00 am to 9.00 am and evening session from 5.00 pm to 07.00 pm. Provincial Minister for Finance Dr. Ayesha Ghaus Pasha will inaugurate the event alongwith Dr. Raheel Siddiqui Chairman Punjab Revenue Authority besides President Punjab Lawn Tennis Association will grace the occasion with their presence.
