Mr. Rehman Chishti MP from Gillingham and Rainham, who is also the newly appointed UK’s Trade Envoy for Pakistan, met with Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in London. Matters relating to enhancement of trade and investment in various sectors of economy came under discussion. The Trade Envoy appreciated the pace at which development projects were being executed in Punjab, and showed keen interest in further deepening the trade relations between the two countries. The Chief Minister also extended Mr. Chishti an invitation to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience, which the latter accepted with thanks and assured of his visit in near future. The meeting provided a good opportunity for the two sides to discuss matters pertaining to bilateral trade.
