Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Khalil Tahir Sandhu has said in a statement that the sacrifice of the martyrs of Karbala is a timeless inspiration for all human-beings and an example of how truth and justice always triumphs over oppression and evil despite oppression and injustice. He said the piety, selflessness and valour that epitomises Karbala will go on to inspire humanity till eternity and should act as a beacon of light and hope for people across the world.The provincial Minister said that “Imam Hussain’s (RA) sacrifice was a pivotal moment in the history of mankind and proved to be an inspiration for not only Muslims but humanity in general to persevere against injustice and tyranny in the pursuit of peace and honor. He said Karbala teaches us the lesson of upholding the principles of righteousness under all circumstances and denying evil forces to make us succumb or bow down before them. The valour and courage of the martyrs of Karbala in the face of unimaginable adversity and injustice should inspire us to not lose hope and work tirelessly to serve our fellow human beings and protect their rights and dignity.
