OPC recovered properties of expatriate Pakistanis

Due to the intervention of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, two properties of an expatriate Pakistani, worth Rs 300 Million, have been got recovered from the illegal possession. Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti while presiding over the departmental meeting, informed that Muhammad Afzal, Settled in Boston, USA, lodged a complaint that he entered into an agreement regarding sale of his Plaza and Farm House situated in Gujranwala, but purchaser party instead of full payment had illegally captured the both properties. This complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis committee (DOPC) Gujranwala. Members of DOPC especially Adnan chatha made hectic efforts and got the said properties vacated with the help of local police. Owner, Muhammad Afzal has thanked Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and OPC team for retrieving his properties. Afzaal Bhatti further told that so far thousands of received complaints of Overseas Pakistanis have been settled amicably.
