Provincial Minister HR&MA Ijaz Alam Augustine has congratulated Sikh Community on the occasion of Baba Gurunanak’s 550th birthday and said that a special week started from Nov 7 to November 15, 2019 is being celebrated by the Sikh Pilgrims to paid tribute to Baba Gurunanak. He said that corridor of Kartarpur will be proved a milestone to promote brotherhood and peace among Sikh community. He said that the corridor's opening will be a great part of Guru Nanak's 550th birth anniversary’s celebrations. He said it is the fulfilment of another promise by the prime minister with the Sikh community and the university at Nankana Sahib would be a tribute on occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The minister said that Members of the Sikh community will greatly benefit from this educational institution and Baba Guru Nanak University will provide the Sikh community with the education of modern sciences and the same should be done across Pakistan.
