Minister Information & Culture Vows to Provide Complete Protection to Children Rights in Naya Pakistan

Provincial Information & Culture Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that children of the nation are guarantee to our bright future and it is collective responsibility of society to safeguard rights of children. Rights of every citizen including children will be fully protected and we will provide such a secure environment to our nation builders where they can undergo their mental grooming properly. Aslam Iqbal expressed these views while addressing in a ceremony on the eve of Universal Children’s Day for protection of their rights being held at Child Protection Bureau today. Chairperson CPWB Sarah Ahmad and people from different walks of life participated in great number during the ceremony. He said that CPWB is playing an effective role with regard to looking after the destitute and deprived children as well as imparting education to them and we have to strengthen this department. He further stated that state plays the role of a mother and it rightly looks at everyone on the basis of equality. The society in which spirit for others caring diminishes then it seizes to exist, he added. No society can be labelled as civilized without inculcating the spirit of care. PTI government has launched Ehsas Programme amounting to Rs192 billion by endeavouring to redress difficulties and distress of poor people and downtrodden segment of society are also being extended maximum help under this programme. Philanthropists should come forward and actively participate in welfare programmes for humanity, concluded Aslam Iqbal.
