Chief Minister Muhammad Hamza Shahbaz Sharif in his message on International Labour Day has said that he vows to restore the dignity of labourer on the eve of World Labour Day and the dream of prosperity of a country will remain unfulfilled without giving the labourer his due right. He stated that 1st May is the day to acknowledge the services of labourers across the globe. Labourer has been declared friend of Allah and his dignity has been duly acknowledged, he added.CM vowed that he will ensure complete implementation on fixing Rs 25000/ wage directed by PM Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif adding that he fully feels the pain of the labour class distress. He remarked that that he will share their grief and his heart beats with the labourers together.CM revealed that Punjab government will undertake exemplary steps for the welfare and prosperity of the labourers. He appreciated that the labourers laid great sacrifices for their due rights in Chicago on 1st May1886 and this day reminds of their great struggle against oppression and subjugation.1st of May provides an opportunity to reaffirm the determination to resolve the problems of labourers and ensure them provision of their due rights, CM concluded.
