Chairperson of the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, Sarah Ahmad, emphasized that it is our social responsibility to care for and educate destitute and abandoned children living on the streets.
In commemoration of International Street Children Day, she urged the public to report the presence of street children by contacting the Child Help Line 1121, so that these vulnerable children can be immediately rescued. She further stated that the bureau is committed to providing these children with the best facilities for their welfare and education, ensuring their bright future. It is indeed heartening that the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau is tirelessly working towards this cause, she added.
Sarah Ahmad also highlighted the significant efforts made by the bureau for the welfare of street children and expressed that it serves as a safe and compassionate haven for them.
