CM Maryam Nawaz Introduces Rs 02 Billion Package for 11,000 Poor Women of South Punjab

“Financial independence of rural women of Punjab is among my priorities,” said Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif while introducing a remarkable project of giving cows and buffaloes to widows and divorced mothers and sisters of South Punjab. She added,”Equal and rapid development and prosperity is the right of every woman of Punjab.” She highlighted,”Rural women of 12 districts can apply for the livestock project.” These districts include Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Layyah, Kot Addu, Multan, Khanewal, Lodhran, Vahari, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahimyar Khan.

Madam Chief Minister said,”Rural women will get employment opportunities from the livestock project.” She added,”They will also be able to meet the growing demand of milk and meat by rearing cows and buffaloes of good breed.”
