Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed to ensure preventive measures due to urban flooding in view of continuous torrential rains. She has directed to clear the central and internal roads of every city at the earliest.
She has further directed to intensify efforts for the early drainage of rainwater in the low-lying areas along with carrying out continuous monitoring process of the drainage of rainwater. She has directed WASA officials to reach the field immediately so as to ensure prompt implementation of PDMA’s SOPs.
