Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif presided over a high level meeting at Civil Secretariat through video link, today. The meeting reviewed the arrangements to cope with the arrival of monsoon and possible flood. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the concerned departments and institutions will have to perform their duties in a coordinated manner to cope with the arrival of monsoon and possible flood. Shehbaz Sharif said that no negligence will be tolerated in precautionary measures and he will personally supervise the arrangements to cope with the coming monsoon and potential flood. He directed to monitor the weather situation round the clock. Provincial Ministers Yawar Zaman, Bilal Yasin, Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning & Development, concerned officials participated in the meeting through video link from Civil Secretariat.
