Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed ud Din has said that government has taken various measures for elimination of gender discrimination and empowerment of women.
She was talking to different delegations of women. The Minister said that implementation of women welfare packages is being ensured. She said that women are playing an active role in economic development of the country. She said that an important segment of workforce comprise women who are serving as house and factory workers. She said that women welfare packages are being implemented with the cooperation of departments and institutions concerned and their monitoring is also being ensured.
