7000 Early Childhood Education Centers Have Been Established

Provincial Minister for Education, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has said that 7000 Early Childhood Education Centers have been set up in schools of the province. Proper facilities and specific staff is playing important role in educating the children of nursery, he added.   

He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony of prize distribution at a local school, here today. The Minister said that motivation of children to schools and creating interest of education among them is an important part of education. He said that Punjab government has paid special attention to set up early childhood centers along with enrolment campaign for this purpose. He said that with the success of enrolment campaign, there is a need of creating more room in schools. Therefore, 11000 new classrooms are being set up in schools in this regard. He said that 11 lakh new children have come to schools so far as the result of enrolment campaign started from 2010. He said that digital approach is of paramount importance for the promotion of education and education system of the province is being connected through one dashboard.

The Minister said that equipping the children of every walk of life with education is our mission. A successful campaign has been launched for admission of children of brick kilns workers to schools and all its credit goes to educational vision of Chief Minister Punjab.
