Rana Mashhood Inspected Examination Centers Of Matric Examinations

Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan today inspected examination centers of matric examinations continuing under the aegis of Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Faisalabad. He went to examination centers set up at Government Islamia College for Women Eidgah Road, MC Higher Secondary High School Allama Iqbal Road and other schools and colleges and reviewed examination process. Chairman Board of Education Mehr Ghulam Muhammad Jhaggar, Director Colleges Rana Munwar Ahmed Khan, EDO Education Bashir Zahid Goraya and other officers were also present on the occasion. The Minister checked papers and other relevant record and directed the staff to ensure holding of examination transparently in a pleasant environment. He said that examination system has been innovated through information technology due to which complaints have become at zero level. He said that on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, he is reviewing in detail examination process by paying visits to different cities of the province. He appreciated the hard work of Chairman Faisalabad Board and his team on taking lead for making examination process, roll number slips, examination duties and other concerned affairs online. He also reviewed security as well as administrative and development affairs in educational institutions. He assured resolution of some problems and directed to make foolproof security in every respect. He also checked teaching process in educational institutions and advised students to pay attention to their studies.

Talking to media-men, Rana Mashhood said that credit of elimination of booti mafia goes to PML-N government and due to transparent examination system, only talented students are securing positions. He said that for more than five percent increase in fees, educational institutions will have to get permission of Punjab government. He said that provision of quality education to the students in normal fee should be given priority. He said that no education loss should be caused to the students and reservations should be removed amicably.

Later, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Minister led an awareness walk at Government College University New Campus Jhang Road. Vice Chancellor GC University Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Faculty members and a large number of girl students attended the walk. Addressing on the occasion, Rana Mashhood said that special attention is being paid to women education and for achieving a high status, women should be literate. He said that women took an active part in the creation of Pakistan and they should also come to practical field shoulder to shoulder with Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
