The teams constituted by Director General Wildlife & Parks Punjab Khalid Ayaz Khan under the leadership of Deputy Director Wildlife Chakwal Range, Rana Shehbaz Khan for the eradication of illegal hunting took action against 13 persons in Valley soon Khabbeki, Jhalar and Ochali Lake and have received departmental compensation of 94 thousand and five hundred rupees.
According to details, 10 thousand rupees were received from Muhammad Ashiq Hussain, 5 thousand rupees from Aktar Hayat, 10 thousand rupees each from Faiz Ahmed, Muhammad Akhtar, Muhammad Asif, 5 thousand rupees each from Muhammad Raees, Muhammad Rab Nawaz, Muhammad Asif, Ahmed Nawaz, Ali Nawaz, 10 thousand rupees from Muhammad Khan and 4 thousand rupees on illegal hunting of migrated birds.
DG Wildlife has announced commendatory certificates for the officers and officials displaying outstanding performance regarding implementation on the law of illegal hunting. He further said that due to recent rains, muddy area in Ahmedabad has been declared open for hunting and the hunters having permit of hunting can only hunt on Sunday in this area.
