Director General Wildlife & Parks Khalid Ayaz Khan has said that work order has been given to Message Shelter Associates for the feasibility study of National Safari Park Salt Range who will submit their report within six months in this regard.
He disclosed this while talking to media-men in his office, here today. DG Wildlife said that the company will conduct study of Bakhshiwala Forest, Sarla Forest, Simli Forest North & South (both sides of motorway), Ochali, Khabeyki and Jhalar Lake.
Khalid Ayaz Khan said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was briefed about this project during a briefing about Wildlife in Lal Sohanra Park, Bahawalpur a few days ago, upon which, he had expressed keen interest in it. DG Wildlife said that on completion of feasibility study, implementation on this mega project of providing recreational facilities to the people will immediately be started.
