Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed ud Din has said that arrangements are being finalized for celebrating International Women’s Day on March 08. She was presiding over a high level meeting here today with regard to International Women’s Day. Secretary Dr. Amna Imam, representatives of Police, Sports Board, Information, Special Monitoring Unit besides Director Aurat Foundation Mumtaz Mughal and others were present. The meeting discussed various proposals with regard to Women Package and International Women’s Day. Hameeda Waheed ud Din directed the meeting to finalize the programme for International Women’s Day as soon as possible besides measures taken by the government for development and protection of women should also be highlighted. The meeting also discussed in detail preparation of documentary film, banners and steamers in connection with International Women’s Day.
