Provincial Minster for Women Development, Hameeda Waheed ud Din inaugurated daycare centers at Civil Hospital and Bahawal Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur today. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that modern daycare centers are being set up in different cities, under a phased programme, for the look after of children of working women. She said that Punjab Daycare Fund Society has been set up for the management of these centers and meetings of its board are held regularly on monthly basis. She said that the society monitors the performance of daycare centers, training of staff and the facilities available at these centers. The Minister said that more than 60 daycare centers have so far been inaugurated while more such centers will be set up during current financial year.
