Provincial Minister for Environment Protection & Population Welfare Begum Zakiya Shahnawaz has said that Environment Protection Department is launching crackdown gradually against the factories creating pollution. She said that notices are being issued and cases sent to the tribunal of Environment Department. The Provincial Minister said that Punjab government will not allow industrial units to pollute the environment at any cost. She said that warnings are being issued to owners of factories to install devices of eliminating pollution under the law.
