She expressed these views while addressing a signing ceremony of a MoU between Punjab and Guangdong Province of China. Hameeda Waheed ud Din said that this step will help in further improving cooperation between both the countries. Besides Director General Mr. fu Lang, Chinese and Pakistani delegations were also present in the ceremony held at Guangdong Foreign Affairs Office. The Provincial Minister congratulated on successful holding of Maritime Silk Road International Expo-2015 under the aegis of Guangdong Province and Guangdong people association for friendship. She also thanked on warm hospitality. Hameeda Waheed ud Din said that China is our second home and Pakistan and china have supported each other at every hour of trial. She also referred to a function held by Chief Minister Punjab on 66th National Day of China after inauguration of Chinese Consulate with Chinese Ambassador and said that it is an important step for further strengthening relations between both the countries. She said that Guangdong is a very developed Chinese province and after signing of MoU, holding of a conference in energy, infrastructure, agriculture and engineering sectors between heads of both provinces is essential. Hameeda Waheed ud Din said that further cooperation in tourism, telecommunication, professional training, aviation and other service sectors can be promoted between both the countries. She paid tributes to Chinese government on successful holding of Expo and also expressed good wishes for Chinese people on behalf of Pakistani people.
