Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs and Human Rights, Khalil Tahir Sandhu has said that government is implementing a comprehensive programme for rapid economic progress of the province while revolutionary reforms have been introduced for the uplift of social sectors.
He was talking to a delegation of different NGOs at his office, here today. Khalil Tahir Sandhu said that youth are an asset of the country and besides provision of quality education, vocational training is also being imparted to the young generation for benefiting from their talent and energies. He said that Punjab government has introduced revolutionary reforms for increasing provincial resources. Khalil Tahir Sandhu said that government is also taking practical steps for the uplift of social sectors. He further said that work is in progress on various public welfare projects with the cooperation of international institutions while capacity of government departments is also being built.
