Secretary Cooperative Babar Hayat Tarar presided over a meeting regarding eradication of dengue at Town Administrative Iqbal Town. Additional Secretary Cooperative Ahmed Javed, Assistant Commissioner Iqbal Town Ali Shahzad and officers of concerned department were present on the occasion.
Secretary Cooperative said that due to timely measures, no case of dengue has been reported from the town. He said that administration is also monitoring educational institutions during summer vocations. He said that surveillance teams will perform their duties during Eid holidays so that action could be taken on any information of dengue larva from any place. He said that various teams are monitoring cleanliness at union council level. He said that leaves of staff of the town and officers of concerned departments have been cancelled on Eid-ul-Fitr. Later, Secretary Cooperative distributed commendatory certificates among the officers showing outstanding performance.
