Lakhs of people are visiting 314 Ramazan bazaars for purchasing quality items at cheaper rates throughout the province. On the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Provincial Ministers and Secretaries are paying surprise visits to Ramazan bazaars for ensuring supply of quality essential items at cheaper rates. Parliamentary Secretary Chaudhry Ali Asghar Manda visited Ramazan bazaars of Mandi Bahauddin and checked prices and quality of daily use items and expressed dissatisfaction over arrangements. He took notice of missing facilities and directed administration to make proper arrangements. Special Secretary C&W Khalid Mehmood paid surprise visits to Ramazan bazaars of Qadirabad, Phalia, Malikwal, Gojra and Kathela Sheikhan. He pointed out absence of civil defense staff. Secretary Public Prosecution Syed Ali Murtaza paid surprise visit to Ramazan bazaar of Kot Radha Kishan and ordered to supply chicken in abundance. Secretary Labour paid visit to Ramazan bazaars of Ghala Mandi & Machine Mohallah Jhelum, Deena and Sohawa and reviewed prices, quality and supply of essential items. He termed the arrangements satisfactory. Secretary Environment visited Ramazan bazaars at Faisalabad, Sumandri Road and Factory Area and termed the arrangements satisfactory. Secretary Cooperative Babar Hayat Tarar visited Ramazan bazaar at Chiniot, Jamiaabad, Bhawana and Nalka Adda and checked the arrangements. Additional Secretary Khursheed Ali visited Ramazan bazaars at Kamalia, Pir Mehal, Gojra and Toba Tek Singh and directed to improve drainage system. Secretary Usher & Zakat Habib-ur-Rehman Gillani visited Ramazan bazaars of Sangla Hill and Toba Tek Singh and expressed satisfaction. Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Capt. (R) Atta Muhammad Khan visited Ramazan bazaars at Sahiwal and expressed satisfaction.
Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Mall Haroon Rafique visited Ramazan bazaars at Narowal, Noorkot, Shakargarh, Zafarwal and directed to further improve security arrangements. DG Katchi Abadi Ameer visited Ramazan bazaars at Arifwala, Qabula and Pakpattan. He took notice of absence of food authority staff and directed to provide flour at utility shop. MD PSIC Bilal Ahmed Butt visited Ramazan bazaars at Sukheki Mandi, Jalalpur Bhattian, Pindi Bhattian and Hafizabad and checked the prices of essential items. Secretary Forests visited Ramazan bazaars at Rawalpindi and checked the arrangements. Provincial officers inquired from the people about the arrangements in Ramazan bazaars and they termed these arrangements satisfactory.
