Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif while addressing the meeting regarding performance of Food Authority has asked heads of taskforces and concerned departments to take stern action against adulteration mafia as the elements involved in this heinous trade provide poison to the people in the greed of few rupees and they deserve no leniency. He said that the decision of constitution of taskforces in four regions of Punjab will help in dealing with adulteration mafia in an effective manner. He expressed the hope that the heads of these taskforces will eliminate adulteration mafia by making hard work, trust and honesty as their motto as this is a noble cause and people will pray for them. Heads of taskforces assured the Chief Minister that they will come up to his expectations and discharge their duties diligently.
