Dr. Farrukh Visits Ramazan Bazaars at Johar Town, Sabzazar, Wahdat Road

Provincial Minister for Agriculture Dr. Farrukh Javed has said that provision of maximum relief to public is the top priority of the Punjab Government. He said that eatables and other commodities are available at lower prices in Ramzan Bazars as compare to open market. A common citizen can save up to 200 rupees daily by shopping from Ramzan Bazaars. He said that the subsidy given under Ramzan Bazaars is being spent for providing relief to the people.
                   
Dr. Farrukh Javed expressed these views while paying surprise visits to Johar Town, Sabzazar and Wahdat Road Ramzan Bazars. Minister for Agriculture checked quality of food items and inquired from the consumers about the prices. He checked the stalls of vegetables, fruits, flour, sugar, agriculture fairs price shops, poultry, utility stores, drinks and meat and expressed satisfaction. He said that provincial ministers and other senior officials are monitoring the Ramzan Bazars all over the province. He instructed the administration to ensure proper cleanliness of the bazars to provide best atmosphere to the citizen. He said that a subsidy of 3.5 billion is given on flour in Ramzan Bazars and other commodities are also available at lower prices as compare to open market. He said that government has taken coordinated steps for providing quality essential items at cheaper rates to the people during Ramzan ul Mubarak. He said that large number of people are visiting Ramzan Bazars which is a positive sign. He said that efforts for providing relief to masses will continue throughout Ramzan ul Mubarak. He said that prices and quality of food items at Agriculture Fair Price Shops are satisfactory.
