Under the supervision of Director Operations Ayesha Mumtaz, Peeta Fresh Bakery situated on PECO Road, cafe kosta at Hussain Chowk, Mehmood Ali Kasoori Road were sealed due to poor cleanliness and using expired items and workers working without medical and after getting registered cases, 11 persons were arrested. Nishtar Town team sealed Master Foods Production Unit on Ferozpur Road due to poor cleanliness, bad condition of food processing, non-covering of eatable items and workers working without medical. A case was registered at concerned police station and two persons were arrested. Shalimar Town team sealed Imran Pakorian, Amin Pakorian and Nadeem Soda Water at Sher Shah Road. According to details, both factories manufacturing pakorian were sealed due to poor cleanliness, using loose oil and availability of products without labeling. 1200 kg products and 2700 liter oil were taken into custody from Imran Pakorian and after registering an FIR at concerned police station, three persons were arrested while one thousand kilogram products and five hundred liter oil were also taken into custody from Amin Pakorian and after registering FIR at concerned police station, owner was arrested at the spot. Nadeem soda water products was sealed due to wrong labeling and filling of substandard soda water bottles without filtration plant and 1440 bottles were taken into custody. Allama Iqbal Town team sealed a café near Shaukat Khanum hospital due to poor cleanliness, broken freezers and outdated items. Similarly, heavy fine was imposed to the canteen of Arib CNG pump due to incomplete labeling and non-entry of expiry date. While Royal Fast Food on College Road was sealed due to poor cleanliness arrangements. Ravi Town field team sealed Ghausia hotel & Chaska point at Lari Adda and Zaib Dairy were sealed due to poor cleanliness whereas heavy fine was imposed to Sabir Sweets & Bakers at Shahdara due to poor cleanliness arrangements. Moreover, Data Gunj Bakhsh Town team sealed Sherin Sweets at Sanda due to poor cleanliness arrangements. Samples of three products were taken and sent to laboratory for analysis. FIR was registered at Sanda police station and owner was arrested. Samanabad Town team sealed Irfania Milk Shop product unit on Ghazali road due to poor cleanliness arrangements.
