Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman has said that Punjab government has promoted comfortable travelling by launching metro bus project and in this way eliminated the gap between rich and the poor by providing quality travelling facility. He said that orange line train will provide further comfort to the common man. The Provincial Minister said that modern facilities are also being provided to the people of South Punjab. He said that Multan Metro Bus Project, Saaf Pani Project, Farm to Market Roads and Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park will change the fate of the people of South Punjab.
He expressed these views while talking to various delegations. Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman said that maximum funds have been allocated for overcoming energy crisis at the earliest. He said that provision of 150 billion rupees for farm to market roads will bring an agriculture revolution in the province. He said that 310 billion and 20 crore rupees have been allocated for education sector which is 27 percent of the total budget reflects the Chief Minister Punjab of being educational friendly. The Provincial Minister said that installation of computer labs at 990 high schools, provision of missing facilities at 7550 schools, reconstructions of buildings of 4700 schools and 500 new schools will be opened in the development budget of education budget. He said that saaf pani programme has been started with 30 billion rupees in 11 districts of South Punjab. He said that Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park has been set up at Bahawalapur at a cost of 150 billion. He said that the repair and construction of roads programme has been started with 76 billion rupees in south Punjab under Khadim-e-Ala rural development programme.
