Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high level meeting here today which discussed the method of payment of second installment of financial assistance to the flood affectees.
Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that in the second phase, the second installment of financial assistance will be paid to the flood affectees on the basis of survey of losses to their crops and houses. He said that third party audit of the survey will also be conducted and no deserving person will be deprived of financial assistance. He said that process of payment of second installment will also be carried out speedily and in a transparent manner like the first installment. DG PDMA gave briefing regarding procedure of payment of second installment of the financial assistance. Provincial Ministers Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman, Col. (R) Shuja Khanzada, Bilal Yasin, Yawar Zaman, Tanvir Aslam Malik, Farrukh Javed, Advisor Kh. Salman Rafiq, Ch. Arshad Jat, MPA Ayesha Ghaus Pasha, Chief Secretary, Senior Member Board of Revenue, DG NADRA, concerned secretaries and senior officers were present on the occasion.
