Education boards should make exam system transparent, foolproof: Rana Mashhood

Provincial Minister for Education, Sports & Youth Affairs Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has directed education boards to make education system more transparent and foolproof. He said that the arrangements of next intermediate examinations should be more comprehensive and organized in accordance with the approved policy.
                   
He issued this direction while presiding over a meeting of PBCC at Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. Secretary Higher Education Iram Bukhari, Chairman PBCC Dr. Muhammad Nasrullah Malik, Chairmen Boards Ghulam Muhammad Jhagar (Faisalabad), Rana Muhammad Masood Akhtar (Bahawalpur), Faiz Ullah Khan Tareen (DG Khan), Riaz Ahmed Hashmi (Multan), Dr. Muhammad Zareef (Rawalpindi), Dr. Anwaar Ahmed (Sahiwal), Prof. Siraj-ul-Haq (Sargodha), Prof. Muhammad Aslam (Gujranwala), Prof. Muhammad Zaheer Chaudhry (Mirpur Azad Kashmir), Secretary PBCC Faqeer Muhammad Kaifi, Secretary Faisalabad Board Malik Zafar Iqbal, Controller PBCC Anwar Farooq, Controller Faisalabad Board Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal Tahir and other concerned officials attended the meeting. The Provincial Minister said that the credit of eliminating booti mafia goes to the present government due to which the examination system has been made trustworthy and intelligent and talented students are getting their right. He said that best management in educational boards is of great importance, therefore, chairmen should arrange examinations with great responsibility. Rana Mashhood Ahmed said that the problems of students approaching educational boards should be resolved on priority basis and all record be compiled in a transparent manner. He said that besides security of examination centers, attendance of vigilant staff should also be ensured. 

He directed that strict security arrangements should be made for supply of answer and question sheets and warned that no negligence will be tolerated in this regard. The Provincial Minister directed that continuous monitoring of arrangements of intermediate examinations should be conducted and said that he will himself visit examination centers. He said that no candidate should face any problem in connection with issuance of role number slip and allotment of center. He also directed to provide list of vigilant staff to Director Colleges and EDO Education. He warned that no irregularity or maladministration will be tolerated.
