Advisor on Health Kh. Salman Rafique inquired after 9- year old Faryad of Sheikhupura who is under treatment at Jinnah Hospital and directed that best treatment facilities be provided to the child who was thrown into a burning field. MS Dr. Zia Ullah told the Advisor that 20 percent body of the child has been affected. He said that Principal Allama Iqbal Medical College and Professor of Pediatric Surgery Prof. Mehmood Shaukat are personally treating the patient and his condition is improving. Kh. Salman Rafique directed the administration that no effort should be spared in the treatment of the injured child and provision of proper care. The MS further informed that besides provision of free medical assistance to the child, his attendants are also being provided food three times a day. It may be mentioned that 9-year old Faryad of Sheikhupura who belongs to a poor family was allegedly thrown by some persons into a burning field of wheat due to which he was burnt and shifted to Jinnah Hospital, Lahore.
