The representatives of various Housing Societies called on Provincial Minister for Cooperatives Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar at his residence, here today. On this occasion the Minister informed that the record of cooperative housing societies would be computerized till June 2015. He said that this wing has been established to provide basic facilities in cooperative housing societies and private housing schemes. After the computerization of all record the matter of all cooperative housing societies would be forwarded to LDA, WASA and government offices for approval, he apprised. The Minister further informed that billions of rupees are being spent on sewerage work in Raiwind due to which 11 cooperative, 16 private and various other housing schemes would be benefited. He also informed that Punjab government would bear 90 percent expenditure of this scheme while 10 percent expenditure would be bear by cooperative and private housing schemes.
